Der erste große Sieg bei den Irish Poker Open in der Royal Dublin Society (RDS) geht nach Rumänien. Tudor Bartha setzte sich beim € 1.150 Luxon Mystery Bounty durch und kassierte € 96.700 + € 12.000 an Bounties.
Mit noch 19 Spielern der 1.175 Entries (646/529) war es gestern schon ins Finale gegangen. € 96.700 + Bounties warteten auf den Sieger, deutschsprachger Spieler war keiner mehr mit dabei. Die Iren hatten noch Hoffnung auf den Heimsie, mit dem Ausscheiden von Andrew Toole auf Rang 8 (€ 11.630+ €1.500) waren die aber auch dahin.
Der anfängliche Chipleader Adrian Mack erwischte keinen guten Finaltag, er musste sich auch schon auf Rang 10 (€ 6.880 + € 10.000) verabschieden. Tudor Bartha, der als einer der Big Stacks gestartet war, kam dagegen ins Heads-up gegen den Niederländer Nicolas Wolters. Bartha konnte sich durchsetzen und holte die Trophäe samt € 96.700 + € 12.000. Mehr Geld gab es für Nicolas Wolters, der zwar „nur “ € 60.450 Preisgeld als Runner-up erhielt, aber bei den Mystery Bounties eine der € 50.000 Top Bounties gezogen hatte und so insgesamt € 79.500 an Bounties auch noch mitnehmen konnte.
