Gestern, den 1. April, gab es Tag 1B beim € 1.150 Main Event der Irish Poker Open in der Royal Dublin Society (RDS). 709 Entries sorgten dabei für volle Tische, auch die DACHs waren stark vertreten.
Nach dem ersten Flight vom Sonntag war die DACH-Bilanz recht überschaubar. Das sollte sich mit Tag 1B gestern ändern. Generell war der Flight mit 709 Entries sehr gut besucht und mit insgesamt 1.176 Entries hat man auch fast schon die Hälfte der € 2.500.000 Garantie eingespielt. 50.000 Chips und 40 Minuten Levels waren gestern wieder die Startbedingungen, 15 Levels wurden gespielt.
Nur 149 Spieler blieben übrig, wobei sich Lawrence Penfold knapp die Gesamtführung holen konnte. Mit 796.000 liegt er nun an der Spitze des Chipcounts. Nils Mallon legte einen guten Start hin und konnte 515.000 einpacken. Generell kamen gestern zahlreiche DACHs durch den Tag und so sieht es nach zwei der fünf Flights aus:
