Bereits kommende Woche am 15. September fällt der Startschuss zu einer neuen Ausgabe des PLO Grand Slams der Diamond Poker Series. Sehr kurzfristig musste man nun die Location wechseln, es wird nun im bekannten Olympic Parc Casino Tallinn gespielt. Und Scotty Nguyen ist trotzdem mit dabei.
Es ist schon ein Bad Beat, wenn man eine Woche vor dem Event die Location wechseln muss. Mit dem Olympic Park Casino Tallinn hat die DPS einen absoluten Top-Partner gefunden und einem erfolgreichen Event steht nichts im Weg. Einen Wermutstropfen gibt es und der ist wirklich bitter – die Garantien sind mit dem Umzug auch weg. Statt GTD heißt es nun estimated. Dass das vor allem bei einem High Roller PLO Festival kein guter Draw ist, versteht sich von selbst, ließ sich in der Kürze aber nicht mehr fixieren.

MPORTANT EVENT UPDATE – VENUE CHANGE
Dear players and partners,
we would like to inform you about an important change regarding our upcoming Diamond Poker Series in Tallinn.
The series was originally scheduled to take place at Bombay Club Tallinn. Two weeks before the start of the event, we were informed by Bombay Club that the event could no longer take place at their venue. This decision was not made by us. As the matter is currently being handled by our legal counsel, we are unable to comment further on the circumstances at this time.
We know that many of you have already booked flights, reserved these dates and are looking forward to a great event in Tallinn. Therefore we are very glad that we could win the Casino Olympic Park Casino Tallinn as a fantastic new location for the series.
Together with the team at Casino Olympic Park Casino Tallinn, we were able to put everything in place within just a few days, and preparations are now running at full speed.
The event dates and tournaments remain unchanged.

Same dates. Same tournaments. Same programme.
Due to the venue change and the resulting new official tournament registrations, prize pools will now be listed as estimated rather than guaranteed. This does not change the scale or ambition of the series. We have received a very strong number of confirmations and commitments from players and partners. It will be the big and strong event you are used to.
All confirmed packages and services will be honoured in full.

Wie zu lesen ist, haben zahlreiche Spieler gebucht und kommen auch zum neuen Venue. Auch Scotty Ngyuen ist mit von der Partie. Bereits am 15. September geht es mit dem 5k Million los. Die ersten Flights sind € 1.000 Phasen-Turniere, ehe es am 17. September dann mit dem € 5.000 + 200 Flight losgeht. Bis zum 20. September dauert es dann, bis ein Sieger feststehen wird. Parallel startet am 20. September die € 10.000 + 400 10k Championship, die über drei Tage gespielt wird. Dazu kommen noch einige weitere High Roller und Side Events, die das Event für die Omaha Liebhaber zum Festival machen.
