Am Ende ging der Sieg an den in Luxemburg lebenden Franzosen Jean-Vincent Lehut. Er setzte sich im Finale beim € 1.100 Main Event der PokerStars Open Namur im Circus Casino Resort Namur durch und sicherte sich die Siegprämie von € 238.000.
Mit noch neun der 1.572 Entries (827/745) war es am Sonntag, den 8. Juni, ins Finale gegangen. Die deutschsprachigen Hoffnungen waren schon dahin, der Slowake Jozef Cibicek lag in Führung. Nachdem Fernando D’Alessio auf Rang 4 (€ 84.230) ausgeschieden war, stand auch fest, dass es keinen belgischen Heimsieg geben würde. Der anfängliche Chipleader kam auch ins Heads-up, doch Jozef Cibicek konnte den Sack nicht zumachen. Er musste sich letztlich mit Rang 2 für € 153.500 begnügen, der Sieg ging an Jean-Vincent Lehut. Der Franzose war früher Pokerdealer, wechselte die Seite und spielt eigentlich öfter Cash Games. Ab und zu darf es dann auch ein Turnier sein und dieses Mal gab es dann auch den Sieg für € 238.000.
Die PokerStars Open machen nur kurz Pause, denn schon von 16. bis 22. Juni ist großer Showdown bei den PS Opem Malaga. Details dazu gibt es auf PokerStarslive.com. Kurz ist auch nur die Event-Pause in Namur, denn von 29. Juni bis 6. Juli feiert GRND on tour (€ 250.000 GTD) von Felix „xflixx“ Schneiders Premiere.
