Der zweite Flight beim € 5.000 + 300 Main Event der PokerStars European Poker Tour (EPT) Malta 2025 im Casino Malta brachte ein volles Haus, vor der Late Reg von Tag 2 stehen bereits 852 Entries zu Buche. Die DACHs sind teils sehr gut aufgestellt.
Schon nach Tag 1A mit 319 Entries konnte man davon ausgehen, dass die Rückkehr der EPT nach Malta ein voller Erfolg sein würde. Auch das Erreichen des Teilnehmerrekordes aus dem Premierenjahr 2015 mit 895 Startern ist möglich, allerdings nur gesamt mit Entries und Re-Entries. Tag 1B sorgte gestern für 533 Entries von 458 Startern, damit sind es nach den beiden Flights 852 Entries (744/108).

Auch gestern waren die DACHs wieder stark vertreten, viele der an Tag 1A Gescheiterten versuchten sich erneut, andere wie win2day Repräsentantin Jessica Teuls oder der frischgebackene HORSE Champion Sebastian Huber waren ebenso am Start wie Klemens Roiter, Josef Schusteritsch, Fabian Bernhauser, Stanislav Zegal, Rainer Kempe, Niko Koop, Robert Heidorn, Didi Fast, Fabian Niederreiter, Hossein Ensan und viele mehr.
Auch die internationale Beteiligung konnte sich gestern sehen lassen, viele der EPT Regulars wie Kenny Hallaert, Thomas Eychenne, Dominik Panka oder auch Jason Wheeler waren mit am Start. 189 Spieler kamen heil durch die zehn Levels, wobei sich Jason Wheeler mit 240.000 Chips den Tagessieg holte. Damit blieb er in der Gesamtwertung nur ganz knapp hinter Lin Jianwei, der an Tag 1A 242.000 eingepackt hatte. Der Schweizer Ersin Ical konnte sich gestern als bester DACH-Spieler 158.000 Chips sichern, generell fällt die Zwischenbilanz der DACHs nach den beiden Starttagen sehr gut aus:
