824 Entries sind es beim € 500 + 50 Showdown am Wörthersee der Poker EM 2026 im Casino Velden geworden und damit hat man quasi einen Rekord aufgestellt. Auf den Sieger warten am Ende € 70.000 Preisgeld.
Gestern, den 18. Juli, gab es den dritten und letzten Starttag. Gespielt wurde wieder mit 100.000 Chips und 40 Minuten Levels. Starke 310 Spieler gingen dabei an den Start, weitere 52 Re-Entries kamen noch dazu und so standen insgesamt 824 Entries (716/108) zu Buche. Nur 2018 waren es mehr Runner (868) gewesen, damals aber auch mit vier Flights.
Sehr viele bekannte Gesichter und CAPT bzw. Poker EM Regulars waren gestern am Start, aber auch zahlreiche neue Spieler konnten begrüßt werden. Es galt wieder 15 Levels zu absolvieren und in dieser Zeit schrumpfte das Feld von 310 auf 78. Belmondo holte mit 1.463.000 Chips den Tagessieg, reihte sich in der Gesamtwertung aber hinter AL (1.952.000) und Jochen Kaiser (1.642.000) ein. Unter den verbliebenen Spielern ist auch win2day Testimonial Jessica Teusl, die mit 856.000 Chips auf Rang 18 liegt.
Insgesamt sind noch 174 Spieler übrig, die heute bei den Blinds 8k/16k/16k in Tag 2 starten. Das erste Ziel sind die 119 Geldränge, die einen Min-Cash von € 1.150 sichern. Der Sieger kann sich dann morgen im Finale auf € 70.000 freuen.
Um 15 Uhr geht es mit 50 Minuten Levels in Tag 2, die Action könnt Ihr im Liveblog hier auf Pokerexklusiv mitverfolgen.
Dazu fällt der STartschuss bei der € 2.000 + 200 PLO Championship (50k/50), hier ist die Late Reg bis zum Finaltag am Montag offen. Für Abwechslung sorgt um 21 Uhr noch das € 300 + 30 NLH Turbo Freezeout (30k/15′). Bei den Cash Games geht es auch heute wie immer ab € 1/3 NLH bzw € 2/2 PLO los.
