Läuft für Leon Sturm. Er holte gestern nicht nur den Sieg beim 10k Mystery Bounty, sondern sicherte sich bei den € 1.650 PokerStars Open der PokerStars European Poker Tour (EPT) Monte-Carlo 2026 im Sporting Monte-Carlo auch gleich noch den Mega-Chiplead für Tag 2.
Kaum war das Mystery Bounty entschieden, räumte Leon Sturm auch bein den PS Open auf. Tag 1C (30k/40′) und Tag 1D (30k/20′) standen gestern auf dem Spielplan. Starke 792 Entries wurden an Tag 1C verzeichnet, den Turbo am Abend nahmen noch 343 Entries mit. Damit kam man insgesamt auf 1.634 Entries, was „nur“ das fünftgrößte Event in der Historie wäre, aber da erstmals mit einem Buy-In von € 1.650 statt früher € 1.100 gespielt wurde, hat man mit € 2.352.960 einen Preisgeldrekord aufgestellt.
Auch die DACHs mischten gestern wieder kräftig mit, unter anderem traten Roland Rokita, Samuel Ju, Didi Fast, Fabian Bartuschk, Felix „xflixx“ Schneiders, Björn Bruns, Josef Huber, Christian Enz oder auch Fabrizio Fuchs und einige mehr an.
Tagesziel in beiden Flights waren die Geldränge und so konnten 118 bzw. 50 Spieler eintüten. Leon Sturm setzte seinen Lauf nach dem Mystery Bounty Sieg fort und sicherte sich mit 970.000 Chips die klare Führung an Tag 1C und stürmte damit auch an die Spitze der Gesamtwertung. Vergleichsweise langeten Vahe Martirosyan 585.000a Tag 1D. Die Ausbeute der DACHs an den beiden gestrigen Starttagen fiel besser aus als nach den ersten beiden Flights, allerdings auch nicht allzu gut.
