An Tag 2 beim $1.500 Pot Limit Omaha (#54) der World Series of Poker (WSOP) 2025 im Horseshoe & Paris Las Vegas wurde kräftig aufgeräumt, Giuseppe Pantaleo schaffte den Sprung unter die letzten elf Spieler.
Schon an Tag 1 war das Feld von 1.564 Entries auf nur 114 Spieler geschrumpft und damit hatte man auch die 236 Geldränge schon längst erreicht. Giuseppe Pantaleo startete als Chipleader, Martin Finger, Martin Schamaun und Daniel Stössl waren ebenfalls noch dabei. Letzterer hatte dann aber schon auf 85 für $3.714 Schluss, fast zeitgleich ging auch Martin Finger (Rang 81), als er mit 
auf dem Board 
das Nachsehen gegen 
hatte.
Martin Schamaum kam weiter, musste sich dann aber auch mit 
gegen 
auf dem Board 
verabschieden und mit Rang 30 für $10.382 begnügen.
Giuseppe Pantaleo konnte zwar seinen Chiplead nicht verteidigen, schaffte es aber unter die letzten elf Spieler und kommt mit 2.460.000 Chips auf Rang 8 zum Finale wieder. Chipleader ist Matthew Vengrin (7.620.000) vor Punnat Punsri (5.305.000). Alle haben $19.983 schon sicher, der Sieger kann sich auf $306.791 freuen.
